Of Health Care Professionals with accessible examination tables, chairs and weight scales

At our April focus group meeting for the 2011 Mobility Rodeo, there was an overwhelming acknowledgement that a RESOURCE GUIDE of healthcare professionals with accessible examination tables, chairs and weight scales for people with disabilities and activity limitations would be of great benefit. Kansas Truck Mobility has taken the lead to initiate a project to collect this data along with Dr. Robbie O’Brien Leighton, Via Christi Clinic, and the Independent Living Resource Center.

We would appreciate your help. If at all possible, we will make this resource available at the MOBILITY RODEO on Friday, Oct. 7th. At the very least, we will have a signup sheet for those who wish to receive a copy.
